Description

As if an alien invasion by the Kreelan galactic empire weren't enough, the newly formed Confederation Government faces the threat of interstellar war from a rogue human colony.

Even as the human sphere reels from Kreelan attacks, the rogue planetary government of the colony on Saint Petersburg plans to unleash a nuclear war against the newly formed Confederation.

A lethal secret agent, codename Scarlet, is sent to determine if Saint Petersburg has built nuclear weapons, which would violate a twenty-year armistice with Earth and the Alliance Française. What she discovers is far worse, triggering a Confederation military expedition, with one of the ships captained by now-Commander Ichiro Sato, that walks right into a trap.

And that's before a Kreelan invasion fleet, led by the enigmatic warrior priestess Tesh-Dar, arrives.

If you enjoy epic space opera stories of first contact, alien invasion, and military science fiction, with plenty of action, adventure and even a dash of fantasy and romance, then you'll love Legend Of The Sword, the second book of the In Her Name saga.

Again, another great book! I'm glad I haven't known of these books till after they all been written. I would have lost my mind if I would had to wait to read the next book. After ready the first book I was hooked. I bought everyone so I can read non stop till the end, It's that good. If you download the first book (it's free) you might as well buy the rest cause your going to love it. I hope they make a series of movies based on these books.

Having read the first 3 books, it was great to learn more about Tesh-Dar and the history of the Kreelans. The beginning of the first book was a bit jarring, starting as it did at the end of a battle in a war that had been going on for some time. This helps fill in many of info gaps and provides a fuller understanding of the greater story.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this series so far. 1 nit picking thing about hardcore Military Sci-Fi ... Communication in space is not instantaneous since there is no FTL communication So can't have a real-time dialog :)
