    This book felt special. It used detailed descriptions of gay sex, which if taken out of context might be deemed pornographic. But the rest of the book diminished their prurient aspect to near irrelevancy. The reader cared much more for what was happening to the two men in between those episodes than the details of their love making.

    I don’t often read books more than once even the ones I love. I began watching the Heated Rival series and I fell in love with Shane and Ilya’s story. I had to read the book! I was not disappointed. Rachel Reid did a phenomenal job telling their story both on screen and on paper. Jacob Tierny, Connor Storie and Hudson Williams along with the rest of the cast brought Rachel’s words to life. So not only did I watch the series twice I had to read the book again. I fell in love all over again. Now I has to read The Long Game again xoxox

    So I never wanted this to end. I’m like woah. I honestly haven’t read the rest of the series, because I unfortunately watched the show first, but this was such an easy intriguing read !
